The virus that just might wipe us out??

Would it not make more sense to bury everything we know about this in a deep dark hole in the middle of nowhere?? If this kind of thing were to get out of the lab we are talking millions of lives at risk, maybe billions!! I'm not trying to fear monger but this is seriously scary shit!! I dunno, you be the judges!!
